Delivery manager; accidently did not delete texture files

Recommended Posts

After installing the latest update 1C, I accidently, after starting up the delivery manager, did NOT delete the texture files.I did read that I should then delete the texture files manually. Unfortunately I don't know the nameof the directories nor the name of the files that I would need to delete manually.I did re-install the update, but that does not force the delivery manager to ask again if you want to delete the texture files.Ofcourse it was my mistake since did not properly follow the instructions, but I already tried some hours to correct my mistake but can't find a solution.Help would be very much appreciated!Kind regards,Wim Sijstermans

You need to leave textures with a part after dot:vc, vclow, common, 600,700,800,900, pmdg,

Hello Wim, Im sorry but I am having a problem understanding your Post, if I was in your position I would reinstall the Livery Manager (not delivery manager) and go to the folder with your previous PTP files, delete them and go to PMDG liveries and download a fresh amount of liveries and reinstall them into the Livery Manager. This is how I would tackle the problem but no doubt I will get shot down in flames by others who think differently. Hope this helps. richard welsh

Richard, problem is not about thinking differently, problem is that this would not help. Indeed livery manager is a part of SP and was reinstalled with it.

Richard,You're right! Indeed it is de livery manager not delivery manager;-) Sorry for that. The guidance with the SP1C states that you should let de livery manager delete certain texture files. And I did not allow that. Now I would like to delete those files manually, but I don't know the names and where to find these.Does this help? Sorry for all the confusion..Regards, WimFabo,But where can I find those files?Regards, Wim

DO NOT delete these in any of the NGX folders: texture.commontexture.PMDGtexture.vctexture.vclowtexture.600texture.700texture.800texture.900Any other folder that starts with texture is a livery folder - get rid of those.

Thanks Ryan for confirming. I was afraid I might have left something out.For clarification, should the user delete ALL the texutre folders, and then use installers "Repair" mode, would it be sufficient?
