March 24, 201214 yr Hi BryanI've noticed that during the preflight tests the FO does not give any warning before carrying out a fire test. When you have an engine running like the APU, in a multi crew flight deck, its nice to know the fire bell is only a test and not a real fire warning. We used to say "Noises" or "Fire Test" in my RW flying daysGlen Glen
March 24, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Glen,That's airline specific I'm afraid. We sticking pretty close to the Boeing SOPs.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 24, 201214 yr Author OK thanks Bryan - I'm really surprised that its not a Boeing SOP as with a multi crew flight deck its common sense to warn your colleagues if your going to activate the fire warning.I'm sure Mr Boeing knows best :( Glen
