Hi.. Mite sound baisc, but when my 737-800NGX starts up, the default cockpit view is panning down toward runway (not straight ahead) as with all other aircraft. I know about SHIFT+ENTER but does not explain why it is not in normal view.Any ideas? Thanks is advance..

Go to fsx.cfgFind the [DISPLAY] sectionSet WideViewAspect=True Andrew Vincent

Ctrl+Space fixes that for me. I cant remember if that is default, or my own mapping. I think it is called "Reset viewpoint" in the controls setup menu.

First thing to do is edit fsx.cfg and find the line listed below:WideViewAspect=TrueShould be False for a 4:3 monitor and True for a Widescreen Monitor. After that go to the main FSX directory then Simobjects Folder, Airplanes Folder, PMDG 737-800NGX Folder, Panel Folder, and open the file Panel.cfg with notepad. Find the section below and edit only the numbers in red. By default it is at 10. I use 5.5 which is a good number. But you can experiment to see what works best for you.[VIEWS]VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANELVIEW_FORWARD_DIR=5.500, 0.000, 0.000VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8You only have to edit this one file and It will change all 4 aircraft cause they are all aliased to this file. If you have the 600/700 addon (which I do not have) you will probably have to do this again for the 600/700 series.
