March 25, 201214 yr I have launched Flight every day since it's release.3 times I have gotten the "corrupted installation" warning followed by Flight closing. All 3 have been fixed by running a Windows update, which I have set to manual.Today I launch Flight and get a warning the "your processor does not meet the minimum requirements for Flight".I am running an i3-2100 @ 3.1 GHz which exceeds the recommended "CPU: Dual Core 3.0 GHz" let alone the minimum.Anybody else seen this or have any ideas?regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
March 26, 201214 yr Hello Joe,The reason for the warning will depend on your total system specs. For example, I get the warning as well, and according to the devs, I quote:Most likely the test you are failing is the video RAM test. Unfortunately the OS only reports video RAM amounts using a 32 bit number, which means it only works up to 4GB. If you have 4.5GB of RAM for example it will wrap around and appear as though you only have 0.5GB. Note, this is adding up your dedicated video RAM as well as the shared RAM that can be used for graphics purposes. Even though you may have a video card with only 1GB of ram, when it gets added to the shared ram it could end up being over 4GB.This is the primary reason that dialog is just a warning and not completely stopping you from using the game. Unfortunately the check box for not showing the message again got broken at some point. We have a bug on it, but I'm not sure when we will get a chance to look at it. You should be able to safely ignore the message assuming you have over 256MB of video RAM which is the minimum requirement.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
