Recommend any particular headset/mic.?

Featured Replies

Just purchased FS2Crew for the PMDG 737NGX over the weekend and am going through the Windows speech recognition tutorial. I'm using a Cyber Acoustics AC-200B Headset (cheapie) and it works pretty good but seems very picky on the position of the mic. I drug this thing out of a closet so I would like to get a new one but wanted some suggestions on a replacement. Don't want anything super expensive, around $30 or $40 would be good....any suggestions?????ThanksSteve

Hi Steve,I use a generic no name brand USB headset.Cost me about $20.Works great. You could spend a lot more and go all the way and get a noise cancelling head set. That's over kill in my view, but some people go for it.I generally recommend getting a USB headset though. The regular 'plug in jack' style works problems, but the USB's are easier to work with.Cheers,
