March 28, 201214 yr Author You never answered my question about whether the controller would go lower than 5%.HookYes, it does. It doesn't recognize the idle detent, but if I pull the throttle full back it goes to 0%.I downloaded the CH software and the throttles look ok. The bottom goes to 255. The top goes to like 12. I calibrated it and now it only goes to 90%. Thanks for the help, but I think I am done with this anyway. It works just fine in every flightsim I own, so maybe that is a sign.Plus, when I signed back on, my throttle axis was back to being the pitch axis for no good reason. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
March 28, 201214 yr If the top goes to 12, then that's 5% of the travel. The game thinks the throttle is calibrated from 255 to 0, and if it only goes to 12 then you get 95%. I don't have the throttle quadrant (will probably be my next hardware purchase), but the CH Pro Throttle works fine and the calibration in CH Control Manager goes from about 235 to 9. The game reads this as 0% to 100%.I thought my CH Yoke controls worked fine until one day I noticed I was only getting from 1% to 99%. I removed the null zone from the standard.xml file and the throttle went from 0 to 100. If there's a problem with the controls for whatever reason, Microsoft needs to know about it. The problem has been posted in the beta forum, and I put a link to this thread so they'd see it. The community manager said there had been no emails about it. They ARE looking into the issue.Don't give up now, we're close to a solution.Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
