March 27, 201214 yr Hi,Currently I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with FSX, the rare CTD every now and then, and constant CTD's with the PMDG MD-11. (It's been about 3/4 of a year since I last flew the MD-11 on a flight; I can't run it at all). I have heard here and elsewhere that it is better to install FSX clear of the Microsoft Games folder. I installed it in the MS Games folder before I knew about this. Would Cutting and pasting the folder into C drive be an option, or do I have to reinstall FSX to move the folder location?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kevin L
March 27, 201214 yr Cut n paste is no problem - once it's moved go to Flight1 and download their Flight1 Registry Tool to fix the path.Get it from here:-http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
