March 30, 201214 yr Yeesh. I just went to check and got "corrupted installation, will now exit."Well... snot.Hook Seriously?Had you downloaded the Zero?If I recall correctly I read somewhere else someone got that message after doing so,and here in the forums someone else lost his career. (I think he had a backup) Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 31, 201214 yr Nothing lost, it's back to normal. I didn't do *anything*... flew earlier, loaded the game just now. When the aerocache screen should have been loading I got the error. I didn't really believe it anyway.Well, I did use some voodoo... and some incantations spoken in a very loud voice (not printable here). I invoked some OR-ELSE logic ("Give me my damn file OR ELSE!"). Did a disk check and a defrag and a reboot. You know. Voodoo. "Turn it upside down and paint it blue" "update your graphics drivers" "unplug it for 30 minutes, then try again, and if it doesn't work call us back" and other things to get you off the phone with tech support. It was probably the incantations that did the trick.Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
