Im aware the backspace key can reset views but my problem is that only some of the views are distorted whilst others arent - and the backspace wont reset the view. Is there something in a config file that needs adjusting.

 

I understand also this isnt an NGX issue just that this forum has the traffic and lot of knowledge. Anyone else experience this issue in the past?

 

Dont know if this is a coincidence but the previous flight i did i was using the recently discovered 'v' key to take pics. After this on the next flight i started expereincing this and the views havnt reset as such.

 

Would love to fix this its ruining my NGX experience!

Have you altered the value of your WideViewAspect in your FSX.CFG? That might explain it.

I have it set to 'true' since day 1 of owning NGX and have never altered that back. So cant be that. Thanks for your reply. Anymore tips?

Are you using EZCA? That causes this by default...

No i dont use EZCA. I actually dont run any addons only use PMDG & ORBX.

Are you in Full mode or in Windowed mode? do you have the screen resolution set correctly in fsx configuration options? if you have wide screen you need to go to fsx.cfg in C, D, or FSX's partition:\Users\(computer username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX, and open the file fsx.cfg with notedpad, and in Display section verify the entry "WideViewAspect=True".

Full window mode as always and have that set to true in config it has never changed this is why its odd.

 

Like i say it has only just happened for some reason and the views/zooms wont reset back even with hitting backspace.

Cheers im aware of that. Its certain views when cycling through with the A key that are distorted some arent. They are hideously elongated.

 

Will try deleting fsx.cfg and let it write a new one.
