PIC 737 Evolution V2 model paintkit

Hi.

Had a quick look at this yesterday.

OMG!

I am quite experienced with FS9 repainting, but this?

(Yes I know it`s FSX).

Has anyone got there head around it?

Eddie

Have you got a link to the paint kit?

Hey Eddie. I've done one repaint with it and yes it was a pain to be honest. The fuselage sections as you now know are split into 4 so you have to line them all up which is pretty tedious. What it really needs is a single fuselage texture that you lay the repaint out on then copy/paste each section to the right indivual file. I'm sure someone could knock one up, but will need all the layers in it.

Yes it would have been nice having a "total-fuse" layerfile available in the paintkit.

Creating it yourself is the solution.

Nasty job , wich nevertheless can be done.

I did one repaint with this and it came out absolutely horrible. It's here in the library, don't even know why I uploaded it.

It is truly the worst paint kit I've ever seen and I don't plan on using it again.

Hi.

Had another go, and honestly given up with it.

My next idea is to edit existing paints.

The ones that come with it are WAY too bright when fired up in FSX. You cant see the subtle details as they look like the contrast is turned up to 11.

As this is FSX and I`m starting to get my head around the different principles involved.

Is there a seperate file to edit this?

Cheers
