Hi. While starting up PMDG MD11 for forst time, it asks for permission to load various gauges. I accidentally pressed no on one of the boxes when it asks permission to load a gauge. Is this bad?

Hi. Really getting tired of messing with this sim and moving on. I have a 4.8 OC PC and lucky if I get 10fpm in bad weather. I`ve tried so many suggestions. I`m running new Rex4 textures with ASN. NVidea Inspector is killing my PC. I have a GTX560ti which is not a bad GPU, but an upgrade to anyother is silly money, and I will need a bigger power supply on top of that. I dont really understand how the AA settings work, which doesn`t help. Think I should concentrate on my guitar and let this go.... :-(

Thankyou for this. The mrs in bed with a hangover at the moment. Just fired it up, and still the same. Bit confused with this bit....... You must set the Sparse Grid Sample number to the exact same amount of multi - samples. In other words if you are using 4XSparse Grid you also MUST use 4xMSAA in the profile. Otherwise you will end up with a blurry mess. You also are goin g to have to set the LOD bias so there is no blurring. You must change the LOD bias setting from clamp to allow. This is a general guideline on LOD bias settings. 2x MSAA + 2x SGSSAA: - 0.500 4x MSAA + 4x SGSSAA: - 1.000 8x MSAA + 8x SGSSAA: - 1.500 Is this the problem?

Frame rates issue
LesPaulGuitarsRock replied to LesPaulGuitarsRock's topic in DX-10 Discussions, Hints and Help
Ha ha. No way!! Some things are just to precious. Would send you a pic, but dont know how to do it. -
Hi. I`ve been having issues with my setup and put my NI back to standard. My frame rate issue has gone now. I`ve not been on the sim long enough to see what I`ve sacrificed by doing this. I`ve set the DX10 fixer to 8x and all is still ok. What have I affected by doing this? What is the bare minimum setting on NI I need? HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS.

Frame rates issue

OKI. I`ve put my Nvidea Inspector back to FSX defaults, and I have no frame rate issue at all. What is the setting on this that is killing my PC? HAPPY NEW YEAR -
Hi. Not sure if this is a DX10 issue, but I`m having real bad frame rates now the weather is getting worse. (Mostly fly online with Vatsim). I`m using the new REX4 textures, thinking this would help. My PC is overclocked to a stable 4.8ghz but is brought to its knees in heavy clouds. I have the DX10 fixer installed. Is it possible my GTX560ti is the bottle neck now? Do I need a GPU with more than 1gb? I cant do any more with the cpu, and i`ve added the usual fsx.cfg tweeks. Maybe I should leave FSX until the summer, when weather gets better?

I fly for BAVirtual, and they`ve phased out the 757 fleet, so I wont be buying it now. Taken too long.

FSX Clickspot
LesPaulGuitarsRock replied to Johan_Dees's topic in FSX/FSX-SE Aircraft and Panel Design Forum - How To
Can someone help me with something similar. I have EZYDOC and love it, but have problems remembering the keystrokes to move around the 3d VC cabin. I would like to add invisible clickspots to the VC cockpit, to do away with remembering what my shortcut keys were and use my mouse instead. Can anyone help? -
Hi. I can lock FSX at 30frames from the sim and it sticks to this, regardless of how many clouds. Now when I put NVidea Inspector from standard mode to edited, as following this forum`s, instructions, I`m lucky to get 10 to 15 in heavy cloud, and sim feels "choppy". Is there a bare minimum of settings on NI to get my frame rate back?
