Easier to run addons

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Basically I gave up on FSX a while ago as my CPU (core i5 760) refuses to OC very far. I will upgrade in a few months to a Sandybridge i5, however I had a fantastic experience on my current CPU with the Carenado planes.

How well will something like the Airbus X run against the PMDG 737NGX? I know the NGX is way way more advanced, but I think the Airbus X looks nice and probably has enough depth to do me for a while :)

So, is the Airbus X more fps friendly than the ngx?

Hope you can help.

The NGx is compared to what it can do and what it supplies, "very" light. But as I don´t have the Airbus X, I can´t really compare.

Best regards, Steffen

Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

Thanks for the reply - Basically, if the Airbus X is somewhere between the default aircraft and the NGX 737 then I think I'd be sold! My rig is core i5 760 @ 2.8ghz, 4gb ddr 3 ram, and a gtx 560 ti

I have both the AirbusX and the NGX. I would definitely say that the AirbusX is more fps-friendly. Of course, it has less eye candy than the NGX, but I still consider the VC to be superb.

Note that Aerosoft is working on an extended version of the AirbusX that has more system depth. There will be a discount for owners of the current AirbusX when upgrading to the new version.

Regards,

Tom
