April 3, 201214 yr Having finished modelling the entire oxygen system for the VC10 I noticed a small detail that had been overlooked and needed correcting. One of those details that once done nobody notices because it looks right. See if you can spot it. Clue it's not the blinker, nor whether the oxygen is on or off. It is related to one of the switches. vololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
April 3, 201214 yr The middle switch is not in the same position on the left photo it is up and on the right it is down, but I am unable to read what this is meant for... Do I win a VC10?
April 4, 201214 yr but I am unable to read what this is meant for... I think the switch is for either pure 100% oxygen or 'atmospheric oxygen' with added nitrogen. Reminds me of the Apollo 1 fire caused by pure oxygen. 100% oxygen is for very high altitude flight where partial oxygen pressure is insufficient for human survival even when it is pressurised. Very unusual to see this in commercial aircraft. very flammable as well. Also note the system on the right pic is not supplying oxygen when when the supply switch is on.
April 4, 201214 yr Author Both wrong look again!!! :-))) Lokk carefully at the area to the left of the centre switch. You see I was right. nobody noticed!! :-) vololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
April 4, 201214 yr Author is it the mirror of the switch? Guenther Well done!!! Sometimes one wonders if attention to detail is ever noticed! vololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
