No VFR! (my mistake not reading first)

Featured Replies

What stupid face I had once I loaded the flight plane that supposed to be a VFR one and the ATC was taking me to 000 altitudes instead of 500 feet ones...

I decided to cancel the IFR when RC shut donw!!!!!!!!!!!!!???

So I read after that and RC is not prepared for VFR!!! So the money I paid for now is useless because I fly 99% in VFR. GRRR!!

I read that there was going to be an update to support VFR and someone said that in version 5 was going to be. I hope that 5 version is 4.5.. because if it is 5.0 I am not going to pay more money for the addom.

I would ask for a refund but I believe that is almost imposible because there is not internet connection registration to cancel my serial number.

I hope at the least that the VFR could come into 4.5 version.

It amazes me that the best ATC in flight simulation (said by lot of people) don't have the simplest ATC option and the usually normal way of beginning flying. The VFR. So I have to go to back to the simplest FSX default ATC but at least more complete than RC4 ATC because it has VFR.

Well really I hope to have that VFR ATC in 4.5 (if will exist) and a transfer from IFR to VFR and viceversa easy to do. In my simple opinion VFR support is a must in RC4.

Hope hearing good news about this, because wasting 40€ for nothing is not fun. But was my mistake not reading more before buying. Just couldn't imagine that the best ATC wouldn't have VFR support.

Well in order to fly VFR in Class B terminal areas you need to follow ATC instructions anyway. RC should work at lower altitudes at least 5,000 feet MSL. You do have to follow ATC instructions enroute. Just be sure to pick the right aircraft type. Your flight plan altitude determines your cruise or you can modify it in the controller page. RC will insist on IFR altitude rules of even thousands for your cruise.
