April 4, 201214 yr Ok so I know I am lagging behind and bringing up the rear as compared to some of you die-hard's . I have been mostly flying jobs the last week or so, as I have completed all the missions, done several of the landing challenges, along with some other challenges as well, like the gold rushes and flying through hoops stuff. So I just went in and reflew the second gold ring challenge, and managed to finally get the gold in that one. Anyway I was thinking after that, you know all I really have left is to do some aerocache hunting - not really done that as of yet, though I have collected a few by happenstance. But - then - I took a look at my stats... Awards - 40 of 106 Ahievements - 8 of 33. And this with over 54 hours of flight time, over 6K nautical miles traveled. So wow, there is still a lot of stuff I can accomplish in Flight, as it is today. I think that is one of the reasons I am enjoying it so much, aside from the fact it is quick and dirty for some fun, no major prep work involved. It is the sense of accomplishing a little more, than simply flying from point a to point b, as I have done for years in FSX. Don't get me wrong, I will still fly and very much enjoy those longer flights in FSX - that part of my enjoyment will never go away - but I am seriously having a blast doing what I am doing with Flight as well. Undoubtedly I will be nowhere near completed with all I can do with the program as I have it now, before Alaska is released - then here I go again. Don B
April 4, 201214 yr And that is the beauty of Flight, not that it replaces FSX or FS9, that it enhances our experiences in this hobby. I have traveled over 4000 miles in Flight and I have never left the Big Island, except for one trip to Kauai. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
April 5, 201214 yr Don, I agree completely. For me, my greatest mission is to get a higher percentage of happy passengers, and also to stop making them sick! I think I actually caused a guy to upchuck in my Maule, and I don't want a repeat.
