April 7, 201214 yr When I activate the reverse thrust, I see on the eicas that it is in reverse, outside I can see the engine in reverse, but I hear no sounds until I pull the reversers back to idle. Shouldn't I hear a constant reverse sound? I hear it in the 747 -David
April 8, 201214 yr It seems a missing file, so try to reinstal. But before it, -try another panel state -read the intro manual and try to set all volumes in fsx and FMC to the correct values. If doesn't help, it is a file problem. Regards Andrea Daviero
April 8, 201214 yr there's a thread here in the ngx furom of a new reverse sound, try those and see if you can hear it. Daniel choen
April 9, 201214 yr Sounds like you need to increase the throttle further once in reverse.. There is nothing wrong with the current sound.. But you won't hear it if you throw it in reverse, but don't bump up the throttle after it's in reverse.. That's my theory anyway.. I know when I go into reverse, I have to continue to tap the reverse throttle "F2" a bit until the throttle is run up and it kicks in.. Then as I approach 60 knots, I'm slowly lowering it back down with "F3", and at 60 knots, I kill and stow it with "F1". Mark Keith
April 9, 201214 yr Author I use fsuipc to map reverse thrust for my ch products throttle quadrant. works fine in every other aircraft, move the throttles all the way back and reverse thrust engages. i just don't hear the sounds in this airplane.
April 9, 201214 yr Pretty strange.. I hear them here.. Do you see the N speeds increase, etc when you advance the throttle while in reverse? Mark Keith
