Disappearing Traffic

Featured Replies

Looking for a bit of guidance really. After changing my Graphics card from an AMD card to a GTX 560ti my FSX.cfg file did not recognise the change in card. A quick delete of the file and allowing FSX to recreate on the next load sorted that issue, however I now have absolutely no traffic in FSX other than myself. That includes from Traffic X, and any default FSX aircraft. Anybody have any thoughts? I have tried rebuilding the scenary libraries I have made changes to Traffic X forcing it to rebuild data bases, but still nothing. I feel like I am flying in that Stephen King film The Langoliers"....

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Andy.

Hi Andy,

Maybe this 'lonelyness' is caused by the fact that in the new cfg file the aircraft shadows have been turned on. I had the same problem (albeit at just one airport) and it was solved by turning off the shadows.

Thanks Rene,

But I just checked the CFG file and anything relating to shadows is at 0.

Did you by chance delete the dll.xml file too?

Not that I am aware of. I'll check when I get home.

Thanks

Traffic X requires a libe in the CFG that enables the AI. Visit their site for the required line:

To close this one. I have no idea what went wrong. All CFG lines were there that should have been. An uninstall and reinstall of Traffic X sorted the issue. Something must have got corrupted somewhere.

Thanks though...
