April 8, 201214 yr Hello, I have flown recently a couple of transatlantic flights using the LD767, LEMD-KATL and KATL-LSZH. On both flights short after T/O and when heading towards the first waypoint of the SID, the controller started giving me instructions to turn right way off my route sending me into a 360 turn twice and then after all this unnecesary turns it sends me to original SID and from then everything goes well until landing. Any idea on why or how to correct this weird instructions? Thanks! Giovanni Beltran
April 8, 201214 yr Hi. If you have 'Enroute Traffic Instructions' turned on, try turning it off. Chris
April 9, 201214 yr Is it possible that you missed flying over a waypoint that was in close to your departure airport?
April 9, 201214 yr Are your flight plans IFR or VFR? If the flight plan is saved as VFR, then ATC will direct you if off course. Chris
