Flight1 162 Skycatcher

Featured Replies

Hi jrhoads.

One thing of note. Just like the Mustang, our 162 Skycatcher was done in official partnership with Cessna.

Would you elaborate? Are you saying / implying that they / Cessna has approved the model as an official / true representation of the real aircraft flight model? TV

I should imagine that is referring to similar arrangements they've had in the past, i.e. ATR supplied Flight 1 with data in order for them to make their ATR-72 and ATR used the Flight 1 ATR as a promotional giveaway when wooing customers, I believe Cessna did a similar thing with the Flight 1 Mustang. Flight 1 does some real-world aviation business, so they have a fair bit of pull where that kind of thing is concerned. This does not make their products level D simulators, but it does mean they are usually on the better side of FS add-ons and they do get used for some commercial applications.
