Yes, external power is exactly that, so you save on the battery on the ground, perhaps they could have modelled a small outside generator... Another one for THE patch !

Oh.... where is the manual ?? First plane I own delivered without a POH, really...! :Hypnotized:

Thank you, you are quite right, there are several PDF's in there. But nothing like a thorough, step by step, well produced induction manual (as I found out in Realair's with their Duke, for instance, and of course with PMDG's) and I am saying the learning curve will be very steep for many Carenado customers on this plane (i.e. not the standard PA28)

I read them all the PDF's and still there is no answer to the above questions.

Hey All ----

I do not know if there is some code accessible by the user base whereby the EXTERNAL POWER could be activated by the switch ??

That would sure be nice, especially to be able to see external power registering on the overhead voltmeter !!!! :Big Grin:

But I still like the idea of adding an external generator (nice graphic enhancement) to the parking items when we add them.

Just another item for the wish list.

Cheers ---- Bob --- :Big Grin:

Check in this folder (your folder structure may vary slightly from mine)...

Yes, thank you, thank you. I responded to bstolle earlier (above) and appreciate your help.

I was basically making a general comment that the whole package seems to have been produced hurriedly and I was expressing a general frustration that this is not only unfinished business (every model needs adjustment) but really this one is in full Beta mode... requiring the consumer to do the tests, see all posts on this forum... they are clear, there is just too much to correct at this time. It should have never come out like this and I am sure it is hurting Carenado in their initial sales, should any prospective buyer peruse this forum. Unfortunately, I didn't.

It has the potential to be a brilliant model but at the moment it is unfinished business. I had never owned a Carenado product, was just aware that they were great and certainly "looked" right and could provide you with that special immersive feeling, so when I saw their King Air, my hand was in my pocket before my heart told me to wait & see... Hence the frustration, given that A2Asim, PMDG, Realair, have raised the bar to new heights recently. So, yes, at the moment, it is a total disappointment and even flying the machine is frustrating (I am thinking of the EHSI/headings/AP management in particular, which for being real, is impossible to use in a sim as you fly.) So I have bought it, I'll keep it (in the hangar) until those many issues are addressed. Meanwhile, having only now done the research, my fault, will go and buy Realair's Duke... (and get "their POH" !!)

I have copied Carenado, of course.
