April 13, 201214 yr I am having that strange issue for quite a while now. On turboprops like the As Twotter and the Turbine Duke, after a normal engine start, the engines spin up to full throttle, making my plane spin around. I cannot idle them as they do not respond to controls movement, and after 30 seconds to 3 minutes they idle themselves. On the turbine duke that issue is extremely nasty because the engines destroy themselves this way. I think something with my FSX is wrong, any ideas?
April 13, 201214 yr I get it sometimes, but not sure 100% on the cause. I used to get this really badly in the Flight 1 Pilatus PC-12. Try this; As you introduce fuel and the engine lights, hold down the F1 key (it's the default key for setting thrust to idle)... see if that stops you lunging forward! April 13, 201214 yr LOL! I just installed the turbine duke after trying the normal duke D60, and crashed twice trying it for the first time. Even with 100% feather and low idle - if I start both at the same time - it generates so much thrust I almost lift off with parking brakes set. Also the rudders hardly work and I need to use separate throttle to steer John doe
April 13, 201214 yr Also the rudders hardly work and I need to use separate throttle to steer There is a CONFIG thing that you get with the Duke, that you need to launch (should be on your desktop after installation), where you can change it from brake steering, to nosewheel steering.
