Yestyerday I came across an issue I have not encountered before and cannot fathom it out. I thought I'd post it here before going to the Aerosoft or SimFlight forums just in caes it's something that someone knows an immediate answer to. I think the screenie is self explanatory. This is what I was faced with each time I repeatedly tried to start a flight at Santorini X. Can anyone offer any advice fellas? Cheers... BTW this happened with both the NGX and also MTX pro AI

Do you happen to have another bgl file buried in your system somewhere for that airport?

Hi Dave, mmm, nope, not that I know of. It's just the standard Aerosoft Santorini X airport. I am running GEX and UTX Europe though, not sure if that's of any significance.

Try deactivating UTX and see what happens. Other wise you might just have to go in and modify the parking spaces a little with ADEX.

I've tried disabling both UTX and GEX from the library and also moved Kos up in the library list, but with no success...

Howard, I have Kos, will check. Don't go away.

Do you have MTX 5.4 ? and have you renamed LGKO to LGKO.BGL.Passive in the MTX\scenery folder ? 99% certain you have another afcad in conflict.

That was my next suggestion. I ran into that a few times also. Funny how the MT bgls can leak thru once in awhile. I have mine right above propeller objects.

Nope, unfortunately it hasn't made any difference whatsoever. I renamed the file exactly as you have shown Julian. Here's another pic of the airport that looks rather odd...

 

Yes Howard, it looks a mess. Autogen is almost gone, Try running the UTX set tool, just press ok when prompted then close it. Restart fsx. Have you any other addons that are close to KOS like LGAV or LTAI ? I assume your KOS airport is from the Holiday airports addon, or did you buy it as a separate addon ?

Hi Julian, sure, it was a separate addon. As far as I can tell, my other greek airports are OK, or maybe I should take a closer look. I'll follow your advice and see how I get on...

Cheers matey, no need, all sorted. I was hoping not to have to reinstall, but when I went to do so, it gave me the option of a repair, which has put everything back where it should be. Thanks for your help and also to Dave, cheers.
