April 19, 201214 yr I am really trying hard to learn XP10. I have the demo downloaded My discs should be here tomorrow and I have already purchased the JR's CRJ to play with. I am optomistic I will be able to figure out how to use my hardware soon enough but right now i can't get around in the VC well enough to even consider myself ready to fly. I use track IR and have it configured I also downloaded and installed the Pilotview plug in but not sure I am using it correctly or not? I'm use to using EZDoc inside FSX and I'm not trying to compare FSX to XP but is there no application that allows you to jump to a preset view inside the VC with track IR enabled and program that function to a button on your yoke? Getting frustrated just trying to get comfortable in the VC. How do you guys do it? Thanks, Robert RE Thomason Jr.
April 19, 201214 yr Robert, Like yourself, I'm new to XP 10 and like you I'm used to EZDOK and TIR. I think pilotview will allow you to assign preset views, it's just a matter of configuring it properly. Check out this thread. there is a video that explains how to set up pilotview. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/370464-setting-the-pilots-eyepoint/
April 19, 201214 yr Author Ok, that video was GOLD for understanding how to use the Pilotview App. The author Sandy B. should link it to the plug in download page. Thanks for the help! Robert RE Thomason Jr.
