Good morning,

 

I recently had to do a re-install of my NGX due to a hard drive crash. On my first test flight, I noticed that the NGX seems to constantly seek the RNAV track. It overshoots it then recorrects and overshoots it again. While it is not huge, it is very annoying especially since it did not do it before. Nothing has changed as far as my equipment. Here is some of my info:

 

PMDG 737-800 NGX with SP update

FSX with SP 1 and 2

Windows 7 64bit

ActiveSky2012

 

Has anyone else encountered this?

Try it with no weather (clear all weather), sounds like a wind problem. If so, get registered copy of FSUIPC and use the weather smoothing feature.
