Best working jetfighter?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am in the mood for a jet fighter, and one of the important criteria is that it should work both in FSX and p3d. Have tried to follow the IRIS vs Milviz thread over in the FSX forum but I want to search a bit broader since F-15 is not a must.

I guess there are many opinions out there, and hopefully some first-hand knowledge as to compatibility. Take your best shot :-)

I don't exactly know what I'm looking for, which is why I am asking such a general question :-). I think the visuals are important and it should fly more or less correctly. And being able to drop things off of the plan is a welcome bonus ;)

The FA18 sure looks great, and I guess the manuals can be any worse than the PMDG 737 NGX, but have you verified that it works in P3D? How about multiplayer in FSX, does it flood the server with simconnect packages?

Just check if VRS F/A-18E works in P3D. You will be busy chasing buses in the air for some time. After that, You will find bombing of VOR pretty exciting. Then You can train carrier arresting and AAR. By the time You will finish the Hornet course, TacPack would be already here. And the show will go again...

SuperBug is the only military jet I use since a month or more.

MilViz has also very good fighters (T-38 Talon, F/A-15), but cannot say, if they are P3D-ready

Th Milviz T-38 & F-15E work in P3D to my satisfaction.

As far as I can see through google, fa-18 is not supported in p3d. However, someone has reported success, so I'm really not sure...
