April 21, 201214 yr Depends what your looking for...realistic flight model....best panel....simpler flight model but great exterior and interior modeling. Personally the best to ever hit the market is the Vertical Reality - F/A-18E Super Hornet. http://www.vrsimulations.com/FA18EFSX.htm You must be willing to read the manual and you must want to click switches and things that make the plane go...like real. April 22, 201214 yr Author I don't exactly know what I'm looking for, which is why I am asking such a general question :-). I think the visuals are important and it should fly more or less correctly. And being able to drop things off of the plan is a welcome bonus ;) The FA18 sure looks great, and I guess the manuals can be any worse than the PMDG 737 NGX, but have you verified that it works in P3D? How about multiplayer in FSX, does it flood the server with simconnect packages? Frank Olaf Sem-Jacobsen
April 22, 201214 yr I haven't been able to get the bug working in P3D. I've spent some time looking for an answer with no luck so far. But she's a gem in FSX, both in MP and SP, and if you have the hardware to run it. Money well spent IMO.
April 22, 201214 yr Sorry haven't yet tried it in P3D. But is the above posted has tried and it isn't working then there is likely some significant issue to be sorted out. I find if often is related to the plane having registry entries that are required for the license to work properly (perhaps I'm not expressing that correctly.) April 23, 201214 yr Author The discussion seems to have died out, but because of the lack of VRS support in P3D, I have for the moment opted to go for the MilViz F-15. Partly because it is a capable simulation, partly because it actually works in P3D, and partly because I can test it for 30 days and get my money back if I don't like it :-) Cheers.
