"Fixes?" for C152 II

Featured Replies

I came upon the "Cloudy's SuperTips for FS2004" a couple of weeks ago and discovered a section on the Carenado C152 II where the guide mentions several issues with the FS2004 edition.

Having recently purchased the aircraft and liking it very much, I was left wondering if some of these were also in the FSX version.

Much to my surprise, many if not all are still present in the FSX aircraft. Things such as the reversed oil/fuel guages, incorrectly leveled AI, oddly functioning parking brake, etc. The author suggests fixes for many of these, but before I undertake the corrections I wanted to ask the group if there might be other issues that I should address, or if some of the issues that were listed really aren't issues at all.

I would also be interested if anyone has undertaken these modifications and their experiences.

I like the C152II very much, so this isn't about knocking it. I'm just trying to get the most accurate representation of the aircraft and flight experience as possible, short of renting one at the local airport.

Thanks,

Ernie

Maybe the great Flight model expert Bert Pieke could possibly look at the 152 and tune it.

I found increasing the propellor Thrust scalor to 1.2 made the scenery go much slower...or is that just my perceptiion and is that more realistic?
