April 24, 201214 yr I'm trying to build my hometown airport into X-Plane, but I have no idea how do I convert the coordinates from the chart to the WED coordinates, which goes to 100, instead of 60 being the limit. How do I convert it? Alexis Mefano
April 24, 201214 yr Author Nevermind! Google Earth shows me coordinates in this format, really easy to use. Alexis Mefano
April 25, 201214 yr Alec, I'm new to X-Plane but I was thinking of trying to do the same thing. Is there a tutorial anywhere on how to do airport scenery in X-Plane 10?

April 25, 201214 yr Try blender 2.62. It's very good, actually the official release of 2.63 is imminent so I'd wait till that one is released though they are not a big download. One of the many good things about Blender is it's free. Another is the availability of a lot of instruction material around. Runs natively in Linux and Windows (also OSX too I believe). There has been a lot of talk around about how steep a learning curve Blender has. I think that with these latest releases that is a thing of the past IMHO.
April 25, 201214 yr Author I tried it but I can't make Xplane2Blender or Blender2Xplance, can't remember the right name, work with it. I made a Cube to fill the space of a Hangar in the scenery. Alexis Mefano
