2 Minor Cabin Questions?

Featured Replies

1)Can anyone tell me what the "BAR" lighting switch does? The switch is located in the Cabin lighting group next to the dome lighting switch to the right of the throttle quadrant.

Is it non functional?

Thanks..

2) Is there a way to lower the volume of the cabin fan? It just seems loud to me... Perhaps a cfg edit?????

The BAR switch provides power to the "bar"...so your passengers can run the blender.

You might try editing the wav files for the cabin fan and turning the volume down.

I know there was a mod/edit for the boost pump volumes on the Malibu from one of our fellow members here... I was just wondering if that could work for this, also... I will look back and see which member it was..

Yea, you can look in the sound.cfg and change the vlm of most anything. Looking that up in the other thread will give you the correct syntax... I think they use thousands (ex: 8000) for sound level. later down the road.. I'm gonna add allot of sound proofing to the plane, and chill out those engines a bit.

Seriously???

Yup. Those who had the Aeroworx B200 may remember that flipping that switch played the sound of a drip coffee maker.
