CitationJet CJ2 - New Ver (1.1) - Looks like a good fix list
I was just going to post that exact screen shot... I am seeing the same texture error.. only from the backseat position 2. Also the clock is no longer clickable - can someone confirm this?

Cabin Pressure System
I dont use Tool Tips.... I was just confused about sea level fields in the Auto Mode. Thanks for the help...

Cabin Pressure System
There are two settings. One of them shows C800. When you flip the press switch to Manual the display changes to FL. I assume the manual FL mode would be to manually set the cruise alt? If the dest. elev. was 200 feet what should the display be set to in Auto Mode C8?? Thanks...

Cabin Pressure System
How do we use the pressure system in this aircraft. Is it an auto system? Do we have to set an cruise altitude or destination elevation? Are any of these these modeled?

Flight Envelope Data Tested
I just submitted a ticket to Carenado..... Their a/c are usually closer to book performance than this.... In the RW CJ - it full power climb and cruise used most of the time? If this is the case, once T/O power is set we would not have to touch the throttle until decent. Could this be correct?

Flight Envelope Data Tested
The results are for cruise @ FL350. Using the High Speed Cruise Chart. My time to climb to FL350 was around 21 minutes as where the book states should be 15 at max thrust. This maybe a because I cannot get more than 101.5 N1/99% thrust? How do I check the throttle cal? I am using a Microsoft joystick...

Flight Envelope Data Tested
I did a short fight to check the climb and cruise performance compared to the book charts and found some issues. The book that comes with this A/C is lacking. We need a real POH....... MY FLIGHT: FL350 / -47C = ISA +8 99% Thrust / 101.9 N1 (Full power) Fuel Flow: 823 Lbs/Hr. KTAS: 392 M: 067 ------------------------------------------- BOOK DATA: FL350 @ ISA (Unknown % Thrust) / Assuming 102.5ish N1 (Full power) Fuel Flow: 1083 Lbs/Hr. KTAS: 407 1) The problems are, The max thrust is 99% which is around 101.5 N1. I cannot achieve above this despite the book stating maximum thrust under certain conditions should be around 102.5 N1. This needs to be fixed. 2) Although the KTAS of 392 I saw is most likely spot on being I was at ISA+8 the fuel flow is too low. 3) There is a major drop off in power if I reduce power even a small amount at cruise. Going from (max thrust) 99% to 98% which is 100.6 N1 the aircraft slows to 331KTAS / M.56 with a fuel flow of 554 Lbs/Hr. This seems like a huge drop for less than 1% thrust reduction. Something seems wrong here. This is a 61 knot difference??????? #####? ------------------------------------------- Is this aircraft supposed to be flowed at max throttle all the time???? How do we fix the throttle to get 100% thrust? Can anyone here verify what I am seeing - I would like to confirm this b4 I submit a ticket to Carenado. Perhaps some of you RW CJ drivers can chime in?

FMS Closeout Panels
I am good with just this info page without the checklists. I make my own checklists anyway....but appreciate the effort.....

FMS Closeout Panels
I love this idea..... Makes use of the dead space with the GTN Installed..... It actually comes in handy for the fuel alone since the engine gauges are now covered up by the GTN.... How do I get this...... Great work..

FMS Closeout Panels
So I finally got around to doing my ritual flight trials with the CJ now that I have the GTN up and running. Overall I am pretty impressed. I think this release by far needs less tweaking than prior Carenado a/c. I am usually adjusting volumes of all the sounds and substituting some call outs but I did not have to do much on the CJ. I need some input form all of you. Now that the GTN is in the MFD, I do not like having a blank inop FMS panel. I do not remember which one of our members came up with the idea to replace the FMS on the S550 with blank closeout panel but it is perfect. Can we do something like this in the CJ? I was thinking of leaving the FMS and keeping it on the PERF page all the time for fuel but I dont think this is possible with the GTN. Let me know what you all think? I can post a photo once I figure out how to do so...... Here is the S550 thread link. http://www.avsim.com/topic/460482-using-the-gtn-instead-of-the-default-fmc-you-might-want-this/

C90 Sounds
The sounds are not that bad I must say.... They need a little volume tweaking here and there but credit where credit is due....They are pretty good.

C90 GTX KING AIR HD SERIES released!
I am going to purchase this tonight knowing what I am going to get. The screwed up A/P, horrible FMS and annoying bugs that would be caught if any quality control was done. I am hoping for a GTN shoe horn in this bird. Berts mod on the 550, Hawker and Phenom saved those three aircraft. Fingers crossed.

Phenom 300 released...first impressions
Well said.... I am still speechless on this release... I cant believe they release a/c with these issues over and over and over.... Its common sense to evolve from release to release and apply bug fixes into newer software... Instead these releases are getting worse. I am just speechless.

Phenom 300 released...first impressions
Is it possible to shoehorn the GTN in the MFD but still have the engine gauges on the left ? This release is a real shame because the exterior model is the best yet out of Carenado...... The avionics are useless though and the the autopilot is a mess as usual..... I would rather have the GTN in this as unrealistic as it is.... At least it would be flyable........

Hawker SP 1.2 Out
I downloaded v1.2 on Monday night after seeing the release on Facebook.... Its strange how I have the new livery in the normal version while you guys do not????? Dont you think???
-
Hawker SP 1.2 Out
I have the new livery (Black Engine Nacelles) with the normal (NOT LITE) version after 1.2????? Perhaps I did not uninstall 1.1 properly? What is the correct way to unistall the older version? Maybe this is the reason why I do not see I real change?

Hawker SP 1.2 Out
I too am pretty dissapointed with 1.2.... I had a list of items that it sent Carenado (In which they asked for screenshots of) and all they fixed was the the Beacon light..... The left NAV light (red) is still ridiculosuly dim. The FMS does not show Dist Remaining and the DIST is the direct to nm between departure and destination fields. YD is still inop - Unless I am missing something.... I havent tried the Aux Fuel / Ventral tank yet - Did they at least fix that?

XML coding for the Carenado Hawker 850XP
I could not agree more.... I am still waiting for the service pack on this.....but I am not holding my breath.... I have to say the service packs on the last few releases have taken a while to publish and have been underwhelming.... Fingers crossed...

Hawker - how to scroll thru waypoints in fms
I say lets do it... I have a long list of rather small but important things that need to be fixed.....

I would if I could have the GTN installed in the vc panel.......Trust me.........

Any interest in a revised FDE?
I too think the spool time is ok but the fuel flow is way off.... At cruise (compared to book) at ISA+10 is was supposed to be around 1750lbs/hr - I was at ISA +12 and was getting 1540ish lbs/hr.... I have been meaning to test this more but maybe this can be solved by increasing the fuel scalar?

Approach Settings
I was under the assumption that Navigraph databased addons have WAAS... The F1 Mustang did.... This is not so good?????

XML coding for the Carenado Hawker 850XP
I have been looking for a fix for this fuel system..... It is screwed up by default because if you have the AUX TRSFR pump on and were feeding from the ventral tank - When the ventral tank goes dry it starts feeding from the wing tanks BUT the fuel quantity in the wing tanks displayed on the Proline screen does not start decreasing until you switch the AUX TRSFR pump off. This is problematic because the Proline screen will not reflect the correct fuel onboard. The FMS does read the correct fuel but is is lump sum of both tanks. Also noticed the FMS fuel used figures for the engine start as a negative number.... (This has been screwed up on every Carenado Release to date - I don know why they cant figure that one out) Thanks for your hardwork Gyro... I think we will all be able to get the aircraft to a state that is acceptable to us - It is a long way off now and I am not banking on Carenado fixing alot.....

Approach Settings
I have been doing some test flight in this bird just to get used to the systems and to get a grasp on the bugs that need to be addressed. Problem is: I have yet to get the GPS Glidslope indicator to appear and the aircraft has yet to follow the GPS Glideslope from the approach Alt. >My setting and Sequence: >HDG Mode - Vector TO final. >KTPA - GPS 1R Approach load into FMS. >Alt Hold at approach plate altitude. >Intercept localizer and click NAV (have to press twice) - "FMS APPR" displays in the Pro-Line screen - It does capture the localizer. >The Glidscope should be active and visible at this point - It is not and the aircraft does not decend? I have the NAV source set to FMS. I am using V1.1. What am I missing?
