  1. Can we check if the digital N1 readout is stopping at 99.0% when the gauge it in fact over that. Meaning - if you are in CRZ and the N1 bars are reading about the 106% N1 - Is the digital numeric readout still saying 99.0% ? I remember at some point the readout would go from 99 to 00(100) to 01(101) etc. (No third digit space) Can you guys look on your next flight... thanks

  5. So I bit the bullet and purchased the GTN750. i installed it and the trainer. Put Berts mods in with his panel cfg.... Go to FSX - load the Citation and the GTN does not work... I can clisk for the pop up but the screen is blank, cant turn it on...What What am I missing here... Thanks
  6. Wow...I just read this thread.... Auto you have been busy..... Since the Citation may not be of my liking I am thinking of putting my time back into this A/C. I will be all over this once Berts mods are incl. Not to be rude but I really do not want to start the trouble shooting all over again in case i lose a function.... I love the idea of fixing the CAWS - something I have been begging Carenado to fix since release.... Just a note - I was watching a video and the Insert Sep Annuciator did illuminate when on - Im not sure which PC-12 version it was on thought - Just an observation. Also..... Does the RW aircraft show o amps when bats are charged? The only other thing I would change on this aircraft but I am not even sure its possible is to separate the cockpit and cabin flood lamps... It has separate switches for the cabin yet they are inop and the cabin floods come on with the cockpit. Thanks for your hard work.. Do you have a list of all the mods to date that your file changes - would be interesting to notice all the details whole flying even the little ones that you have been addressing.
  7. Ok thanks for the info..... I will try this tonight... Its unbelievable how Carenado takes the time to put wear and tear scratches all over the control yoke and weather wear under the wings (both poorly executed and overdone I may add) but they cant take the time to get the crucial systems correct...
  8. I have done three flight on this bird so far and both times i have been getting the cabin pressure Annunciation warning above about FL310. I have set the dial at 1000 above crz alt. I still get the Warning... Anyone experience this on this A/C? Am I setting it wrong? Thanks....
  9. I did not have this add-on prior to SP1 but I too am adding an awful lot of nose down trim on departure... It is behaving like it has double the thrust rating without the additional speed. I do not have any RW experience with this a/c... Perhaps someone who has can chime in?
  10. As Bert knows I have this same problem.... I have learned to live with it as I do not see a way around.... To reset in flight just press the "TEST LAMPS" on the overhead console. This resets all the alarms and lights.

  12. Just a follow up note: It was not the driver it was EVGA's Precision X 16 software. Evidently it does not get along with FSX too well.
  13. I installed the new EVGA GTX 970 FTX+ last night and installed the newest driver: 347.25 I removed the old driver prior to the swap correctly as I always do. The issue is after loading up an FSX flight, the screen goes black after a minute or so. I did some Googling and it appears to be a driver issue? The screen goes black but FSX is functioning as normal. I get the mouse cursor only. I have tried windowed mode and its the same thing. The only way out of FSX at this point is the do a program shut down from the TM. For those of you that are running a GTX 900 series gpu: What forceware drivers are you using and is there something I am missing here? Is there any driver that is known to work well over another? Running FSX Win 7 SP1 Thanks......

  16. I was experiencing the same frustration when in my early hours of this bird.... I then switched to flaps 15 under normal weight ranges for improved surfaces landings and it is much more normal. Dont forget this aircraft is designed for unimproved surface landings. Flap 40 is meant to get the airspeed to minimum vref on short approach and to get the bird stopped within 1000 feet or less. In most of our cases we have plenty of runway to get her down and in some cases may have to keep the airspeed up for ATC purposes... My suggestion - dont land with any more then flap 15. Flap 40 is challenging and to get this thing down and stopped can be alot of fun but you will have to learn how to land all over again.... Its good rainy day training. I came across a -45 POH and nowhere in this book does it say flap 30 allowable for landing... Either flap 0, 15 or 40.

  18. I would have to agree with this.... After all it is a sim and for the price they charge we cant expect Level D software... but as is its very Carenado in a good way. This is with Bert and Nicks fixes though... Without them the a/c needs some work... I do have some issues with Carenado's glass textures on the exterior model. For some reason the cockpit side windows are too transparent (from spot view), look simlike and is just missing something...maybe some black outlining like the front glass (unrealistic I know) cuz the interior and exterior almost match in color and brightness ..... but thats just me being picky. Im not complaining though...
  19. There still is no CAWS light when the "Inert Sep" is on or the deicing gear besides the boots.
  20. I did a flight last night and the EFIS CRS marker would not slave to the GPS NAV CRS. I had to keep changing it manually? Anyone experience this.? It was working (I think at one point)...... If so the only change made to the file was the addition of Nicks wonderful performance mods and Berts mandatory A/P mods....Could that be related? I would not think so? Thanks. Using the default GPS BTW..
  21. SO....DISAPPOINTED !! Will have to check if they added the CAWS lights for the Inert Sep and the Deicing gear.......My guess is they have not... Also no luck getting them to separate the cabin and cockpit flood light as well. They always seem to take the easy road on the SP's.
  22. Dont hold your breath is right!!! I sent in this request (more like an error in my eyes) to Carenado and they responds with: "They will consider it as a modification to a future patch" This is BS!!!!! Something so common sense as cockpit and cabin flood lights!!! Hell there is even separate switches for them. I don't understand why. My hope is someone will threaten them and they will fix it - or one of our in mad modders here at AVSIM can figure out a texture fix.. Fingers crossed....
