user name while flying on line

Featured Replies

I have seen user names/Handles of other Pilots while flying on line. Not that its a big deal, but I show up a Testiespak??? or something like that I guess its my gamertag ID. Would perfer my old user name "OldFunFlyer" (OFF). Cant anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks in advance.

Regards

OFF

You can change your gamertag in Xbox once for free. I have done this also and had no problems at all.

It will still be tied to your Live ID.

1. Sign into Xbox.com with your windows live ID. (the one you are using for Flight !)

2. Go to the " Edit My Profile " box (just under your avatar)

3. Change your gamertag. and save.

I did just that very thing when I started in as a beta tester. I changed my Gamertag to "N4GIX" for the sake of consistency across the entire internet. As it is my FCC assigned amateur radio callsign, it is guaranteed to be unique!

I don't remember my exact automatically generated Gamertag, but it was something very unflattering like "unhinged_moron12" or somesuch nonsense... :LMAO:
