May 2, 201214 yr Haven't tried yet, but am interested if it will or can be installed. Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3
May 2, 201214 yr I've made several attempts at installing the bug into P3D. Havent had any luck. From the info I've come across, seems to be a simconnect issue. Theres mention of it in the Lockheed forums...http://www.prepar3d....3.0#postid-4928 But if any1 has managed to get it working , I'd love to hear about it.

This article points also out correctly that different versions of SimConnect can co-exist successfully side-by-side (as the technology is called). Superbug's failing is a not a fault of Prepar3D's or any other version of SimConnect per se. It maybe a fault of unsupported calls, hacks etc which also impinges upon PMDG and A2A flight modelling. However that is pure conjecture on my part.
May 4, 201214 yr Try VFR tech support if you cannot figure it out -- Superbug has been got to work in P3D :Applause:

May 5, 201214 yr Thanks for the suggestion, but the VRS Support forum has been spectacularly unhelpful to this point. Like many others, I have been trying to get the Superbug to work in P3D for some time now, with no success. The problem appears to be that the Superbug's Aircraft Configuration Manager calls for a specific version of SimConnect which is different than the version reported by P3D. If you ignore this and just try to load the aircraft in P3D, you get nothing but a blank screen. I have posted on the VRS Support forum and asked them to address the issue (even indicating that I would be willing to pay for a P3D home/personal use "license"), but so far they have ignored my post: http://forums.vrsimulations.com/forums/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=8453 As for the statement that "Superbug has been got to work in P3D," I see no evidence of that in any public forum (but would be happy if someone would prove me wrong). Major V More money? Simply ask for P3D support in the future, and then they will decide what to do. :Loser: . If they take things seriously, should give you an answer.
