May 3, 201214 yr Roar, You're a superstar! I will try them as soon as I'm back home. Just a question: how did you program the ALT INTV button? Like in the previous version with ALT HLD? Thanks a lot! Fabrice Fabrice Lambert
May 3, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member I havn't implemented the intv buttons yet. They will come in a day or two. There are certainly issues with this first release , but they will be corrected if problems are reported rgs Roar Kristensen www.flightsim4fun.com P3Dv4 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BAv4 for immersive PMDG B737/777/747 flying XPLANE 11 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BA_XP for immersive B737 flying
May 4, 201214 yr I had the test version previous, which i connected fine to my sioc and P&P MCP which is connected and run on a networked PC(specifying the hostaddress in the .txt file) However this new version doesnt have such a file or option to set that, and doesnt connect to SIOC running on a networked PC Im not sure of the changes in this newer vesion as I am unable to test it because of this fault - however the previous version wasnt really useable due to the lag issues when changing altitude,HDG etc either on the mcp or within the sim, FSCREW would go heywire due to this lag if I asked it to set a altitude etc ending up in not being able to actually set the correct altitude. Am i doing something wrong with refrence to setting up this newer version on a network, or is it not enabled to do so? Regards James Carr
May 4, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member The newest version only connects to the localhost ( on the same PC). I decided to skip the configuration file were you specified the hostaddress in order to keep the installation simpler. I will implement the network possibllity as an option in the next release. BTW. The newest version on my web site should now work much better and without lag. You will soon learn how to rotate the knobs without having any lags. rgs Roar Kristensen www.flightsim4fun.com P3Dv4 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BAv4 for immersive PMDG B737/777/747 flying XPLANE 11 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BA_XP for immersive B737 flying

May 5, 201214 yr Hi Roar: F/D and A/T does not work. MINS and BARO only work in one direction, onñly increase values. Thans for your contribution Greetings Israel Abril Ferández
May 6, 201214 yr Can anyone post their working sioc.ini for the Plug&Play MCP and EFIS? I had the MCP working fairly well with the beta I received from Roar some time ago, but with the newer versions, many of the MCP's functions don't work anymore, and the EFIS doesn't work at all. So, I hope I can figure out what I'm doing wrong by comparing my sioc.ini to those that work...
May 7, 201214 yr OK, I managed to get both the MCP and EFIS working, more or less... Still have the issues already reported by iab, and the vertical speed wheel still works the wrong way around. Also, switching between Radio and Baro, and between In and Hpa, doesn't work very consistently.
May 8, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member Hi, New OCP4NGX v1.03 for both local and network configurations now available on http://flightsim4fun.com rgs Roar Kristensen www.flightsim4fun.com P3Dv4 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BAv4 for immersive PMDG B737/777/747 flying XPLANE 11 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BA_XP for immersive B737 flying
May 9, 201214 yr Initial impressions of v1.03, after one short flight: A/T arm works now (LED still doesn't), but speed setting can still not be changed on the hardware MCP when speed window is in Mach mode. Vertical Speed wheel still works the wrong way around (should work similar to the trim wheels). Several MCP buttons only work after they've been clicked once on the virtual MCP, like CMD A and HDG SEL. After a while HDG SEL only worked on the virtual MCP. Range setting on the EFIS is often off by a factor 2. (for instance, 2.5 or 10 when set to 5) Mins and Baro settings work both ways now. (up and down) I must admit I'm not familiar enough with the systems to be able to thoroughly test them yet, but will try to do some more testing in the following days... Thanks a lot so far, Roar!
May 22, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member Hi I have just released a new version of the OCP4NGX driver ( v1.04). The new driver can be downloaded from my web site flightsim4fun.com This version supports - PowerON and Shutdown ( You need to power up from ColdAndDark on the NGX's OVH panel to initiate the MCP ) - LightsTest initiated from the MIP - SPD_INTV and ALT_INTV - RADIO / BARO on EFIS - IN / HPA on EFIS This version works very well on my specific OpenCockpits hardware, but I have not tested it on a P&P module. Plese report any issues. rgs Roar Kristensen www.flightsim4fun.com P3Dv4 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BAv4 for immersive PMDG B737/777/747 flying XPLANE 11 with Opencockpits hardware controlled by OC4BA_XP for immersive B737 flying
