Anyone Else Getting "Service Unavailble" When First Loading ASE?

Featured Replies

The home page is just a blank screen with SERVICE UNAVAILABLE in the upper left. The ASE user interface is still there, and weather still seems to download and generate correctly, however. Also, the HiFi website is still up but makes no mention of this issue.

Weird...

this has happened to me a couple of times, but the weather still loaded properly and it only seemed to be temporary isolated incidents. happened a couple of months ago for me. just checked and it's loading properly for me.

Thanks for listening,

Kail

It's working for me. I have never seen a blank screen and it always starts up normally for me. Perhaps it is your service provider or maybe an issue with your license.

Best regards,

Jim

The home page presentation is a web page that is probably produced by a web service call when ASE initializes - if the service isn't running then I expect that's what produces the message. The service is seperate from the database interface and consequently there's no impact on data.
