While checking the Big Suggestion list I saw a request for an alternate to the HUD for checking wind speed and direction as the wind socks were often too small to be seen from the cockpit. I checked this by scrolling the mouse wheel to see if I could zoom enough to be helpful. Barely. I noticed that in an external view I could magnify a much greater amount but the eyepoint was very critical to get the aircraft and the now large enough wind sock in view. I checked Cameras.cfg and saw that the Cockpit section had "MaxZoom=2" I changed his to 4 and the windsock was visible enough to be usable. Even at this setting the scenery is over-magnified.
