May 17, 201214 yr Hello All Last night I tried to create a flightplan from KFRG to KPBI using the 'Calculate auto route' option in FSNav,I selected the 'Low altitude' airways option, but this resulted in a lock up ,with no plan being generated and eventually forcing me to shut down FS and start again. On my second attempt I again tried the same flight but tried the 'High alt 'airways option but with the same result lock up and restart. At this point I gave up and selected a new flight and created its plan with no further problems. .This has happened to me on a couple of occasions (cant remember the other flights details , something like KMIA-to somwhere in Latin America. To be fair to FSNavigator I have used it for years ,and generated many many flightplans with no problems, but I wonder if anybody else has experienced anything like this. And is there anyway of shutting down a locked FSNAV without having to force a complete re-start of FS9 ? PS I notice another thread about solid state drives and whether they improve FS performance, the consensus seems to be that they don't ,however! users of these drives do say there is a significant increase in loading FS9 .In the case of CTDs ,lockups or just starting up initially this in itself could be a very useful feature .Having to re-start FS9 after CTDs or other horrids and then reloading a flight ,its plan ,ASKy etc etc etc etc is tedious in the extreme. Anyways cheers Andy
