May 18, 201214 yr Hi Folks. Please see attached image. Does anybody know why or how to remedy the problem shown here. As can be see my HSI and compass align to gether (160'), ok, but the GPS is showing 58'. This makes following the track when A/P is set to NAV, impossible. Hopefully someone knows what's wrong here. Thanks John
May 18, 201214 yr Did this just start happening? Is the offset the same in different parts of the world, or on different aircraft? I recently downloaded and installed a scenery for the Portuguese island of Madiera. It shifted my compass by about 10-15 degrees relative to GPS. Removing the scenery solved the problem.
May 19, 201214 yr Thanks Captain. That was it. It was a scenery problem. John For future reference, which scenery was it? Thanks.
May 19, 201214 yr Author The scenery was Puerto Rico from FlightSim, but can't remember who created it, sorry. thanks again John
May 19, 201214 yr It may have placed its own magdec.bgl in its add-on folder at higher priority than in FS9 default scenery\BASE\scenery magdec.bgl. See if that it in your add-on and change .bgl to .bgh to disable that one file.
