May 19, 201214 yr Hi, Having a strange problem with the new Latin VFR KMIA. All of my AI that are parked at the F terminal and some at the G terminal are disappearing after receiving their IFR clearance from ATC (i.e. not pushing back or anything, just vanishing) Any ideas about what could be the culprit? May 19, 201214 yr Take a look at the AFCAD. It sounds to me like there is no path from the terminal to the runways.
May 19, 201214 yr Author I closed rw12 for departures and it seemed to have solved the issue (aircraft at F and G terminals are now being directed to rw9). I guess there's some issue with the AFCAD regarding rw12. Thanks, will do some further investigations. J.C.
May 19, 201214 yr If you want to try to fix the problem then use freeware ADE9X or payware AFX to load the file containing the afd type objects (afcad) and run the fault finder. AFCAD itself can corrupt later designed afd files or drop items from them. Also report the problem if there is no update from whatever sources Latin VFR offers. They may already have a patch to do this. Remember that in FS to close a runway you need to set the same privileges at both ends of the same runway.
