May 21, 201214 yr That file gets created when you run that RXP config tool on the plane of your choice. It will be stored in the aircraft's folder under Simobjects\Airplanes\Ron's favourite ac. Now the LinkGps=On line has to be edited manually. So just create the initial ini file with the tool (or copy it from another plane to avoid the tool) and later open it with a text editor adding the line. The syntax looks like this. [rxpgns.ini] LinkGps= Automatically link GNS WAAS flight plan to Flight Simulator GPS flight plan and to third party EFIS gauges. Options are "off", "on" (uses XML GPS API), "legacy" (uses older gps_export.dll API). LinkGps=On LinkGps=legacy Pick one of those options (not both at the same time) and add it right under the tag for the GPS gauge in use. So for a 530 it would be [GNS530] LinkGps=On .. for example.
May 21, 201214 yr Also if the Default GPS pops up when you click on the Panel GPS you can swap out that popup with the RXP. I don't have any Carenado but this works for other planes. Backup the panel.cfg and edit it. Copy the ID from the default gps window section and put it into the RXP window section instead. Then change or remove the original gps window and it's entry in the list at the top. This all doesn't apply if the RXP is in the virtual cockpit panel - only need to do this if they don't support cockpit integration and displays the default gps.
