May 24, 201214 yr i always thought those claims were for specific games and FSX isnt one of them? Performance gains by new drivers are almost always relegated to specific programs. I did not mean a performance increase for FSX. Sorry for the confusion. The release notes indicated performance increases for several different games for the 580 so, to me, that indicates an increase in performance of the GTX580 overall, including those games. I see these games just listed as reference points.... a "for instance". There are a ton of other games they did not list. FSX is a really old game and I know Nvidia is not working on making FSX work better. I realize you see it as only the games listed as the only ones that were given performance increases and we may be at odds regarding that assumption. Personally I don't really care if the performance increases are just for those games. My comments above were only to let everyone know that when I first got my system and ran the Nvidia 266.58 drivers back in April of 2011, I had a certain 3dMark11 benchmark on that date. Upgrading to the latest and greatest drivers a little over a year later, the benchmark has increased by 2900 points. That's progress which the 3dMark11 saw as improvements. Again, apologize for any confusion I might have caused. Best regards, Jim

May 25, 201214 yr "LOL. We could could only wish for FSX Jim. many of them "Modern" games are coded Faaaar different." :LMAO: Me too. Again, you missed my point. I fully understand Nvidia is not making drivers to improve FSX performance and apologize if that's what you read in my desertation. Best regards, Jim
