For some reason my FO is no longer turning the lower EICAS off and turning off the landing lights at I pass through 10,000ft. I had a birdstrike not long after rotation and so ran the n-norm checklist, but still got through the after takeoff checklist by around 8,000ft. Should I wait until he asks to turn them off before the 10,000ft altimeter check, or should it make no difference? He does turn stuff back upon descent. Odd indeed.

 

If it makes any difference, I'm flying a winglet-ed 763 in FS9 on Win7 x64. He USED to ask, so maybe I've annoyed him somehow... :unknw:

I'm not sure. You must be doing something different. Please double check the procedures in the manual.
