Can I download DLC via Steam

Featured Replies

as I only have the Live version installed. I thought I can, but on Steam they say that you have to have the Steam version of Flight?

Well, I got one of my warbirds through Steam.

There is no problem with Steam, but since FLIGHT would be my only game, it's not really that smooth to have to install it (FLIGHT) from Steam, to be able to get the DLC, and the Activation code from their site. After that you can uninstall Steam (I did) and get back to your GFWL platform only.

Maybe if you have two computers you can choose to play FLIGHT through Steam in one of them, and use GFWL on the other...

In the future I will probably only buy from GFWL, unless I see a huge discount through Steam...

Thx, i have Steam for some other games, and I am expecting those cockpitless toys in a bundle on Steam for not more than 3,99 € in a few weeks. At this price I would give it a try.

Me too :-)

I will probably not buy Alsaka as it get's released, and rather wait for a bundle announcement from Steam

Also, I read that apparently the MS FLIGHT support team participates on the Steam forums....

Figure 30 days after Alaska comes out, they'll offer a bundle on Steam.

They do, but you don't have to install Steam to register for the Steam Forum. It's a separate login.
