Pressurisation panel - destination altitude

Featured Replies

I was just wondering where FS2Crew gets the destination airport altitude from? FSX? The PMDG FMS database?

The reason I ask is that now & then I get what I imagine is a rounding type error - not wildly wrong but not 1 click different from what I'd have set using the AD elevation from Navigraph airport charts.

e,g, I flew Nice to Gatwick yesterday and the FO set 150ft as the destination altitude - Navigraph quotes Gatwick at 203ft.

It's a very minor point and I pick it up when checking the Pressurisation Mode selector in the Preflight Checklist but I just wondered why it happens - a different data source is the obvious possible cause.

Noted for future reference.

I thought it was more a request for information than direct support, but noted.
