dynamic reflections on the exteriour?

Featured Replies

hey,

I know the answer to my question will be no but it's still worth a try;

as some of you will remember, the airlinerxp team promised and even showed a screenshot (in the german magazine flightxpress) of adding dynamic reflections on the exteriour, which means that you'll see the wings reflected on the fuse for example, they even said it will be also for the FS2004 version.

As you can guess, my question is if the pmdg team could make something like this, surely the answer will be no as I sad at the beginning, but hope dies last, doesn't it ^_^

I believe that reflections in FSX use global environment map. I wonder how they could achieve that?

AirlinerXP? You mean their vapourware A320?

I won't speak for what PMDG might or might not be able to do. But reflections go in the base FSX are incredibly poor. Go find a lake and look through the reflection for that. Sometimes (or maybe all the time?) You will see a mountain in a forest reflected, even if there is none present.
