Has anyone been able to use the MCP Combo with the Reality XP gauges?

(Sound of crickets.) I came here wondering the same thing. Was thinking about picking up the 530 but I need it to work with my MCP Combo. I have a Carenado airplane that has their version of the 530 and 430 but when you use the MCP Combo it tunes both. Need to put the 430 in mode 2 somehow.

Yea, it does say support for it but not sure what that means..

I just noticed that you said 'gauges' up in your original post. Why would Linda need to work with gauges? Wouldn't the aircraft default commands be sufficient?

If your MCP can generate key codes, you can assign them to 530 and 430 functions in the master

copy of the rxpgns.ini file.

The 530 and 430 operate independently of one another.

In the airplane specific version of the rxpgns.ini file, you would set

Radios=1 for the 530 and

Radios=2 for the 430 if you want them assigned to COM1/NAV1 and COM2/NAV2

respectively.

Old thread but I got a new sim and re-incorporated the CTRL+ALT+SHIFT lines to enable rxp with LINDA.  Now, however, when it starts I get a bunch of messages "Unable to assign Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F10 as hotkey."  I cancel them all and everything works but what's going on there?

Anyone?

EDIT:  I also tried removing ALT from the keyboard command for the RealityXP but then all the commands stopped working.  Perhaps, I'll try that again.

Ah...editing the functions fixed the issues.  Something doesn't like those ALT commands.  I manually changed the RXP_ functions to use just SHIFT+CTRL+<some key>.

The world is back in greased grooves.
