Throttle is made for the left hand isn't it?

I guess so, but can put the right hand on it and check for You, if it feels comfortable.

I have the Thrustmaster and although recalibrating almost everytime (3 years old now) is an annoyance, it still works fine and landing is nice. It is not expensive too.

TM Hotas Warthog is probably the best stick in ~500USD range. It lacks Force Feedback, but is pretty good in feel and precise enough
