Blue screen when unplugging Saitek?

Hello all,

This is a problem that has troubled me on my computer the past few years and it usually doesn't frustrated me unless I accidentally unplug my Saitek X52 Pro from my computer while FS is running :P

When I accidentally unplug my X52 Pro (or older X52 when I used that stick), my computer instantly blue screens and reboots.

Any chance anyone may have any insight or ideas why? Or, even better, a way to fix this (yes, I know...just don't unplug my joystick)?

Thanks!

Polite bump. Anyone experience this with Saitek, or any hardware controller I guess?

Don't unplug your controls while computer is running. I don't get the blue screen I lose my FSUIPC settings and other bad things. Turn off computer, turn off power before unplugging and be sure you plug them back into same ports.....thats my advice, and by all means have a copy of FSUIPC settings if you use this utility.

I'm aware, hence the "accidentally" in the above since my controller does occasionally develop a loose connection. Thank you.
