Scud Running from RAF Chivenor to Gloucester

Featured Replies

We've had some horrendous weather here in the UK over the last couple of days. Torrential rain, flooding, storms and gale-force winds. Just the weather I thought to go flying (in the sim..)!

I jumped in RealAir's aptly named Lancair G-LANC and departed RAF Chivinor on the North Devon coast and headed for Gloucester at FL120.

Hoping for some bad weather - I didn't have long to wait!

Hope you enjoy the pix.

Ready for departure at Chivenor

On climb-out the weather doesn't look too bad but...

...not long after I came across some very dirty looking clouds

Finally! Out of the CB's and over the rather misty Gloucestershire countryside (and still in one piece...)

What a beautiful aeroplane!

Simply beautiful Adam, nice work. :Applause:
