June 16, 201213 yr I have several F-117's and all of them exhibit the same texture error just forward of the cockpit. It can be seen at various viewing angles and when passing a cloud. Is there any fix for this error? Thanks, Bob.
June 18, 201213 yr That's probably in the model and if so, can't be fixed. Might be something to do with the HUD, etc. Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
June 19, 201213 yr Hi Bob, did yoiu had this problem on your old system also ? Or is this another Win7 64 bit issue ? Best Dietmar
June 19, 201213 yr Author Hi Bob, did yoiu had this problem on your old system also ? Or is this another Win7 64 bit issue ? Best Dietmar Hi Dietmar. Thanks. I don't remember if it was there before. It is on all my F-117's. I guess they have the same model file. I'll check it today. Regards, Bob.
June 19, 201213 yr Bob, does the model have a VC ? If so, just take it out ( delete the entry in the model.cfg) and see whether the problem is gone. This is just to isolate the problem. In case it is the texture of the VC it should be possible to get around it. Best Dietmar
June 19, 201213 yr Author Hi Dietmar. There is no VC called out in any of the model.cfg's but each version does have a VC called out in the panel.cfg. Will remming out the VC in the panel.cfg work? I never fly in the VC's anyway. Thanks. Regards, Bob.
June 19, 201213 yr No, that won't work. You would need to delete the VC model, not the gauges. Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page

June 20, 201213 yr Bob, pls look into your model folder. You must see two mdl files and one cfg file. If you open the cfg file you should see this entries ( this is, as a example, the cfg for the b747) : [models] normal=B747_400 interior=B747_400_interior The entry "normal=B747_400" points to the aircraft model. The entry "interior=B747_400_interior" points to the model for the VC. Now just delete the VC entry by doing this: [models] normal=B747_400 //interior=B747_400_interior In this case you have deleted the VC regardless what has been defined in your panel.cfg . This is a very simple way to eliminate the VC of a model and the related textures. Give it a try ! Best Dietmar

I don't have any interiors. They are all old models. I have yet to find a freeware F-117 which is an FSX type. I have searched for one without any hits. Best regards, Bob.
June 29, 201213 yr Author Hi Bob, I think we have the problem solved. Best Dietmar Hi Dietmar. Yes you solved the problem with your F-117 find. Thanks and best regards, Bob.
